Job Costing for Dynamics 365 is tightly integrated with Gravity Software™ (Gravity), a full accounting application written on the Dynamics 365 (aka Microsoft CRM) platform.  The Job Costing module is designed to assist specialty subcontractors in automating and streamlining their accounting, job costing, billing, time & expense, document management and reporting.

The Job Costing module provides the ability to quickly and easily convert job bids into a Schedule of Values to perform progress billing — bill by percentage or amount.  Quickly generate invoices, along with the required AIA G702 and G703 documents.  Set retainage rates by job and the system will automatically track withheld retainage and perform the final retainage billing.

Tracking estimated, committed and actual job costs in real-time can often make the difference between being profitable or not.  The Financial Summary gird provides this information, in real-time, as purchase orders are released and payable vouchers, journals, labor time and costs are posted, Now that’s streamlining the process!  Easily view the financial line item details that contribute to each estimate or actual subtotal by hovering over the amount, or display the full details using the many reporting options provided.  Either way, the information you need is now always at your fingertips!
